In the Bid Price / Select Material, Overhead & Profit tab, you can select a material percentage for Overhead, Profit and additional Misc. Adjustments. This will be applied to all of the material in the estimate. You can’t apply a mark-up on an individual items. In my opinion, you want to be able to select a profit on the entire job. Calculate what your costs are and then choose what profit you want to make. Doing it any other way is double dipping and it distorts the true return on investment.
